One that I could find a lot of images from, and has good music. Something specific, such as aviation.
I want something more unique- I’m not crazy about that era, but a lot of other people in my class are and I feel like everyone’s gonna be doing the 60′s.

Given how today in Veterans Day, I decided to retrieve a 1:35th scale model of a USMC DUKW amphibious truck I have been (slowly) working on to honor my grandfather and the other Marines who served on Iwo Jima.

I’m planning to incorporate this DUKW into a diorama I’m constructing to match an actual picture from the battle in which two DUKWs, loaded with 55 gal drums of aviation fuel destined for airfield #1 have just come under attack by Japanese soldiers and are defending themselves with a combination of the .50 M2 machine gun mounted on the lead DUKW and small arms wielded by the US soldiers in both DUKWs.

I just finished assembling the 48 55 gal drums that are to be loaded into the two DUKWs and was wondering what additional markings, besides the “US QMC” stamp found on the top of each drum, would be on WWII era 55 gal drums of aviation fuel present in a combat zone???
Like the DUKWs themselves, which had many markings covered over or omitted once they entered the combat zone, I assume that any colorful markings on fuel drums would have been similarly covered up but was wondering what identifying markings would have been left on the fuel drums.
Specific information about the size, color and location of the markings would be greatly appreciated…

I’ve seen several pictures like this but I’ve always wonder, what exactly is that coming out of the plane.

I am writing an article for an aviation magazine and I want to use two screen capture pictures from an amature video and a 70 year old British newsreel film. Do I need permission to do this and if so how do I get it? I will not be compensated for this article, however the magazine is a commercial product.

I love his songs, but who is he?
He has no music videos, and I can’t find any pictures of him at all or search him up at all on google.
Does anyone know?

It is not a MH-60K/L/M Black Hawk as some sited state. Looking at the picture of the tail shown on the news I can tell it’s something never before seen. I’m an aviation enthusiast and have seen just about all the choppers used by the military but this one is totally strange. It has stealth characteristics, made of a strange material. This chopper is very silent and can fool radars. Does any one have any in site on this helicopter?
