I’m an A&P trying to find a place that sells these aviation spark plug gapping pliers. Look here for description and patent info/pictures:

I have only ever known two mechanics who own a pair and neither of them know where or how they got them!
Please help!
Thanks..

The Aviation section at Walmart
At the aviation spark plug gapping pliers store. They’re obviously not a really big selling item if you only know two people who have them.
When I brought up your link, it went to a Brown Tool site – Try them.
Or: Aviall in Gibsonville, N.C. aeroaccessories.com
I would say use your feeler gauge to set the appropriate gap, and bend the spark plug carefully with the outside of your closed duckbills. If you really feel compelled, you can find a cheap spark plug gapping tool, which will essentially do the same thing as your feeler gauge. Of course, refer to your maintenance manual.
I had a pair of these in the early 1960s. I had too many spark plug failures. The pressure of the pliers was damaging the packing around the center electrode. I wouldn’t use them. Do it the right and old fashioned way.
Just to show you deserve the best I would go with Snap-on, http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=51320&group_ID=1351&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
